Whilst every effort is made to ensure that the information is accurate and up to date, it should not be considered a substitute for professional medical, psychological or mental health advice.
Accessing this website, reading its content, downloading resources, making an enquiry or communicating with Graceful Therapy does not establish a therapeutic relationship. A client–therapist relationship is only established once an assessment has taken place and a working agreement has been accepted by both parties.

The information published on this website is intended to provide general information about counselling, psychotherapy and the services offered by Graceful Therapy.
This includes:
General Information: Information about counselling, therapeutic approaches and emotional wellbeing.

Therapeutic Relationship
Making contact with Graceful Therapy does not automatically mean that counselling will begin.
This includes:
Enquiries: Initial enquiries are intended to help determine whether my service is appropriate for your needs.
Assessment: Therapy will only commence following an assessment and mutual agreement that we will work together.
Working Agreement: A therapeutic relationship begins only after both parties have agreed to the terms of the working agreement.
Crisis and Emergency Support
Graceful Therapy is not a crisis or emergency service.
If you believe you or another person is at immediate risk of harm, you should:
Contact 999 if there is an immediate emergency.
Contact NHS 111 or your GP for urgent mental health support.
Attend your nearest Accident and Emergency Department if appropriate.
If you are an existing client experiencing an emergency outside of your scheduled sessions, please use the appropriate emergency services rather than relying on email or message responses.
